I have been a huge fan of Mr. Chopra for quite some time. I believe he is knowledgeable, spiritual and one of the most informed men on the planet today with respect to the link of physical to spiritual. I have read his books, attended his seminars, listened to him on Sirius radio and talked with him on three occasions.
I do however have one problem which I would like to express. I found his seminars to be extremely beneficial however to the best of my knowledge they are available only to the affluent as they are very expensive. I do not understand why Doctor Chopra does not allow a certain percentage of seats at his seminars to the poor. Certainly a man who is worth 22 Million dollars can afford to allow five percent of his seating at seminars to the poor so they too can share in his message. After all, who could use the knowledge he provides more than the poor? Please do not write to me and tell me that the poor have access to his message thru radio, Internet and books. I have worked with the very poor and they do not have access to any of these things. I have written several letters to Doctor Chopra's institute. I have received answers to all my questions but they fail to address the issue of the poor. I have spoken to Dr. Chopra several times in person and on the radio and would never publicly embarrass him by asking this question in front of others however now I am beginning to wonder why the question is being ignored. Certainly we all have the right to make money with our God given gifts but after 22 Million dollars I think it is time to share his message with at least a small percentage of the poor.It is nice keeping company with the likes of Madonna, Goldie Hawn and other notable personalities. We are often reminded of this when he speaks on Sirius radio. But why would someone with so much "spirituality" spend his time with only the wealthy and affluent? Could it be that even Doctor Chopra suffers from an unhealthy ego?
