The statement that he waits for fighters to get old and them fights them is spoken by a person that does not keep up with boxing and wants to sound as if they know what they are talking about because it's not even close to the truth. What about Ortiz? Or Hatton? Corrales? Marquez who was just robbed again in the Pacquaio fight, Ndou who was 33-0 when MW fought him, the list goes on and on. The kid faces nothing but champions. He likes to punch and not get punched which does not make for the most exciting fight but when the career is over it allows a fighter to still have quality of life because he is not all punch drunk with slurred speech because of constant blows to the head. If I was talented enough to get that kind of money and suffer little punishment I'd do it too.

It isn't the boxing skills that people hate, it is the person. It is unfortunate that some people look up to someone like him and emulate him, thus creating more wastes of flesh on the planet than there currently are. He is a great fighter, but he is a horrible example of a human being.

Why won't people leave the man alone, and respect the fact that he's a very good fighter, and that it's his birth right to be able to boast and be confident about it?

Gotta say, Mayweather has confidence and is the definition of boxing. I wasn't a big fan at first because I always viewed him as a showoff. Now living in Vegas and being in promotions myself, I understand why he promotes himself as he does and has the square canvas on lock to prove whatever comes out of his mouth. Floyd is just genius and has that Midas touch

Haha looks like now a days he's the one that's taking second thoughts on who he'll fight. cough Pacquiao cough. Mayweather is one of the most overrated boxers of all times. He waits for people to get old and then he'll fight them.

I must say that Floyd Money/Pretty Boy Mayweather is far most the best pound-4-pound fighter that has stepped onto this planet. call him what ya want, but im guareenteed people all around would take a second thought about fighting this guy, in which i call him a warrior
